Gem Kennedy is a transformational coach, EFT & Matrix Reimprinting practitioner, activist and founder of Queers & Co. Her work focuses around the themes of self-empowerment, body liberation and activism. Since qualifying with Animas in 2018, Gem has been supporting LGBTQ+ folks and allies to reclaim their personal power and take up space so that they can sustain their efforts to effect social change and navigate the often inevitable burnout that comes with doing this work. What started out as research project to inform her work as a coach, quickly became Queers & Co., a social justice-focused podcast, zine and community of kickass humans who are at the forefront of change-making, working in areas like fat activism, LGBTQ+ rights, anti-racism, children's rights and more. Using the same process as in her 1:1 work, Gem has recently launched her course, Making Waves: Self-Empowerment for Social Change, which helps people get to know themselves better, get clear on their vision and build a customised toolkit to support them in bringing about social change.
